Our Story

Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

The Tea Ceremony

Chris and Mia’s Ceremony will be held outside on Friday at 11:00 am. Here is a short video explaining the different parts.

If you'd like to participate in the tradition by dressing in Vietnamese clothing, the traditional outfit is called an áo dài (pronounced roughly “ow yai”). They are beautiful, elegant outfits worn by both women and men, and there are also styles available for children.

There is absolutely no pressure to purchase one! Formal, modest Western clothing is also appropriate. If you would like to wear an áo dài, however, it would be a beautiful way to honor the Vietnamese side of the family and the significance of the ceremony.

One place to browse is:

They have options for women and couples, and many traditional styles are relatively affordable.

Another option is:
Viet Huong Collection USA

They carry áo dài for women, men, and children.

One little tip: if you order online, check the measurements carefully because Vietnamese sizing can run very small.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
